Show Notes

“If you deprive yourself of outsourcing and your competitors do not, you’re putting yourself out of business.” Lee Kuan Yew

Overnight success is typically 10 years in the making. Yoni knows all too well what it means to start an outsourcing business from the ground up. This episode of The Entrepreneurial You looks at iTelBPO and the work Yoni and his team has put in to make it a success. Among the highs are some low lows such as losing a client after making a heavy investment to secure them.

Here is a snippet of what Yoni shared:

“In 2014 we won an account that was should have been at that time, our transition to the next stage of growth in our business, we borrowed money, went and rented new space. We sent people to the States to go and train and we came back to start hiring people. And about six weeks after that, the client literally went dark on us, stopped responding to our emails, stopped coming on calls, and I started to really get worried because we obviously took on some expense and you know, plan to be able to start meeting our commitments and they just walked away.”

Hot Point:

Outsource what is non-core to your business as someone will be able to do it cheaper and more efficient.
