Show Notes:
To break the ice, I asked Leslie, whether she’d rather live under water and swim with the fish, or be able to travel through space and touch the stars.
Her response, “That’s so funny because I already feel like I’ve traveled to space and touched the stars and I live very close to the ocean and can swim with the fish. I’m deeply cosmic and as deep as the ocean so I will say both.”
We talked about the creative vision, some practices to get your mojo back and more.
Some questions I asked throughout the interview are:
- What would you describe as mojo?
- What are some of the things that can cause you to lose your mojo?
- How would you describe mojo in relation to those persons who are not as passionate and driven by nature?
- What are some of the practices that you do to encourage getting back your mojo?
- What do you mean by the courage to create great work?
- What are some of the tips you can offer to foster creativity?
Main Take-Aways:
Sometimes we just need to slow down a little bit, re-center, re-group and be able to have a practice where you can regularly go and touch back within yourself and think whether something is working. If not, ask, how can I shift it at this point in my life.
It is very important to take care of yourself, scheduling that time is key. Making sure you are working out, eating properly, giving yourself that time to be creative.
There is something about tapping into your creativity, going into that place deep within, that it enlightens the mind. It helps you to problem-solve and see things differently.
