Show Notes:
To break the ice, I asked Daniel, if he were a fish, what kind of fish would he be.
He responded, “I guess a dolphin isn’t a fish. The level of consciousness that whales and dolphins demonstrate is what I’m going for. Since they never really sleep; the ability to be awake would be the principle behind that choice.”
We talked about finding the authentic path that’s right for you.
Some questions I asked Daniel throughout the interview are:
- What do we mean when we speak of spirituality?
- What does spirituality have to do with business?
- What is the typically the response to the question of “Why am I here?”
- What is the best way to tap into our talents and desires to create a life of meaning and authenticity?
- How can spiritual principles be used in business to create an environment of success, growth and fulfillment for not just the business owner but for the employee as well?
- How can we live in a way that is fulfilling to ourselves and serve the world at the same time?
- What would you say to those who are having a challenge being in touch with spirit, living a life on auto-pilot, mechanical way?
- How much do the opinions of others matter in one’s quest for finding their life’s path or how much should it matter?
Main Take-Aways:
Spiritually address the issues of ultimate concerns – the source of your decisions. What are you basing your decision on about the day to day things in life on?
If you hold your attention to your intention you can become skilled at what you were called to be.
If the service you are employed in is deeply connected to why you are here, and what’s that calling you to do, then the by-product of that is you feel fulfilled and you will be happy.
