“To excel at the highest level – or any level, really – you need to believe in yourself, and hands down, one of the biggest contributors to my self-confidence has been private coaching.” – Stephen Curry

We perhaps know quite a bit about Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines but how much do we know about this micro-search platform, Pinterest? Apparently, there is much that we are missing out on when we decide whether consciously or unconsciously, not to include it in our marketing efforts.

This week, The Entrepreneurial You podcast invites Gana Osofsky to share on how to use Pinterest to grow your email list with ideal customers – with ease!

Here is a snippet of what  Jana shared:

“For me there are four pillars of Pinterest success. I am on a mission in life to help people understand that there are always other things you can focus on, two there’s always shiny objects that you can try to focus on on Pinterest. You can say all I want to do is join group boards, or I want to do this or I want to make this new video pin. But most of my people are just starting with their Pinterest strategy. So I always try to bring it back to the things that we know work and the things that we know and are going to give you ROI. Keywords are one of them and then the second one is visuals. So it (Pinterest) is a visual platform. Creating pins, which is that graphic that some of you may have seen if you’re out there listening and you’ve been on Pinterest before – creating pins that do the right thing. There’s only two jobs with your pin, one of them is to stop the scroll, to get the person’s attention – to get the right person’s attention because they’re scrolling through Pinterest just like you might be scrolling through social media. You need to get them to stop and pay attention.”
